The Faculty of Education has considerable experience in offering teacher practicum programs for international students and can provide professional practice placements for 8 weeks in Queensland schools.
Benefits of the program Preservice teachers enjoy a quality practicum based on good preparation and experienced supervising lecturers, teachers and school coordinators. Placements are negotiated according to the needs of students and school vacancies. Supervision and Evaluation Practicum students are supervised by teachers and an academic from the Faculty. On completion, students are provided with a report from the school and from the university which certifies that the student has successfully completed the program at a satisfactory level. Costs Costs vary depending on the duration and whether there is requirement for homestay or hotel style accommodation. |
